Works in this collection take place in the land of Månenstat (mow-nen-stott), an adorable and harrowing fantasy country full of cute fae people and gory man-eating monsters. The country itself is somewhat based on Norway, and there are many references to aspects of Norse mythology. Thematically, stories in Månenstat tend to focus on quite dark subjects, particularly those deep into existential horror. This darkness walks hand-in-hand with many cute and fluffy character interactions. (Elevator pitch: "Fear and Hunger if it took place in the world of Puyo Puyo".)
The main cast of characters depicted throughout Månenstat stories is also predominantly female (or otherwise feminine-aligned) and WLW. The main game related to Månenstat is Night of Eternal Night, which is still in development, and my largest project to date.
