A collection showcasing my favorite Furry Visual Novels of 2025. Includes shorter works that released in their entirety and longer ongoing projects that released their first builds this year. Sorted by initial release date.
Even with just two large builds so far, Silverstone does so much to establish its dense lore, characters who definitely have more than a few unresolved issues, and set up its intriguing story. I'm excited to see where it goes.
Ab. Solute. Peak.
This VN has everything I could hope for in a project of this scale. An engaging story (bonus: with a meaningful message), intriguing characters, fantastic presentation, badass trans people, men, hot gay sex, and a confidence that helps it stand strong. This is one to keep an eye on.
This VN from the Love + Attraction Jam is tragically realistic in that it shows that not all relationships are the ideal happy story we all want. And yet there's a dreamlike tenderness to it that makes it all the more gorgeous.
A tense, unrelenting, and genuinely terrifying experience that left me shook. A masterwork of horror and easily the scariest FVN I've ever read.
As an ex-Mormon myself, I am naturally curious about this. This is a very unique FVN, not just with its concept, but also with its visual style. Campo Largo has a very slow start, but it is such an accurate depiction of the Mormon church that it stays engaging. I look forward to seeing where this goes.
I have chosen Nepenthes as my favorite entry of the 2025 Novembuck Jam. It is a delicious work of Gothic horror, with meticulous confident prose and gorgeous art to go with it. It feels like something I could find in a collection of Edgar Allan Poe works, and I mean that as high praise.
