A list of all games I've beaten during 2024
An absolutely adorable game about a Grim Reaper who doesn't want to collect souls.
The main premise of the game is about a young Grim Reaper who dislikes their job as a soul collector and just wants to dedicate their life to their true vocation.
The artstyle seems fitting, with a hand-drawn style, alongside cute character designs it's impossible to hate this game!
The gameplay is very simple, only requiring one button (Either spacebar or left click), and it seemlessly changes between minigames and visual novel.
The soul-snatching minigame is fairly simple, yet it can get a bit harder further into the game, tho it's still relatively easy.
Overall it's a great experience with a charming story! Definitely recommend playing it if you have a bit of time to kill~ (hehe, kill time, grim reaper, DAMN I'm funny /s).

A puzzle platformer about being the last one standing.
For a Game Jam entry, this feels like a full game (A very short one mind you, but my point still stands).
The controls are very polished and the movement is very smooth, which makes playing the game very satisfying.
The mechanics are very simple, but the theme of the game makes up for it, alongside a unique gameplay full of puzzles and chain reactions.
The puzzles are not hard to solve and all they require is some planning and a bit of platforming skills, but overall it's relatively easy.
The graphics are simplistic but work well, giving the protagonist a vibrant pink color to keep the player focused.

A reverse platformer, as simple as that.
The goal of this game is to take the package to the end. However, instead of controling the parcel, you push it around by controling the environment!
The controls are very easy, being able to play most of the game with one finger, with the exception of a couple screens of course.
The puzzles are relatively simple yet satisfying to complete, and the game as a whole is very enjoyable to play.
The graphics are pleasing, with a very retro look (Also the box being 3D altho using 2D sprites is genius and seeing it being flinged into the air and rotating is very hypnotizing).

A game all about breaking the game.
I'd say this is one of the most original ways to show how a small error in the code can cause big problems. The main objective is to escape the dungeon by taking advantage of programming "errors" purposefully made by the dev.
The way of switching between the different abilities is great, being able to rotate between abilities or select a specific one to use with the 1-5 keys.
Each of the abilities is unique and all of them together grant a very entertaining puzzle-solving experience.
