The sequel to one of the most critically appraised game of all time, and blew it out of the water. It introduced many additions to the classic gameplay that prove to enhance the gameplay of The Rat’s Hole.
The jump to 3D was a big one for the Rat. It stripped away many new features introduced in RH2, but proved the gameplay could work without it. Although being a milestone in the franchise, it massively underperformed commercially.
The true first Rat game produced by me. Heavily influenced the Rat games to come. While not using the Rat's Hole name, it influenced and was referenced in future games.
Can be considered the first look at the greatness that would soon come.
