This is exquisite!
Stealth has been a genre always primed for innovation, but mostly trapped in convention. This game is able to weave a narrative out of the usual routines of avoidance, systems tempering and intel-gathering, but infuses everything with a fresh take by transposing the action to a 2nd person perspective. Instead of having "boots on the ground" espionage action, the player is tasked the role of assistance, a role that has always been packaged with the genre, but never thrusted outside of NPC scripted interventions.
Besides the reinvention of stealth, this game piece also excels in presentation and plot, using the ASCII interface to communicate effectively the state of the game, but not sacrificing on charm. There's a simple but touching narrative communicated through space and text that is simply to the point with the flow of its set pieces.
Uma tirada bem humorada sobre a superficialidade dos testes de personalidade, assim como a romantização da sociedade medieval.
