I'm planning on tackling nanowrimo this year (https://nanowrimo.org/) for the...many-th time. Since it's an entirely spur of the moment decision that I had not thought about at all in advance, I decided to grab one (or more) of the solo journaling games I've been looking at and use it as a basis to get me writing each day even if I don't make the 50k challenge this year.
This collection is my 'short list' although it does seem to keep growing.
