visual novels with a romantic element, or dating sims with good plot, none of which cost money to play!
not too fond of the stat-management aspect, but the deep plot, sassy mc, and variety of endings more than make up for it.
Customizable MC, hell yes! A little sad that you can't date each guy as ANY race (and a little weird since the player's gender doesn't matter) but I guess that kinda forces some replayability. Loved being able to be the sassy leader instead of just another tag-a-long, though I am jealous I wasn't the most badass.
Unique in that it's very one-on-one. The only characters are you and Silas, your love interest. I feel like there was a lot of interesting backstory that I somehow missed, despite getting the romantic ending, but I still enjoyed it. Very inspiring exploration of the concept of AI, as well.
Not as dark as I was expecting, fortunately. Some endings were unpleasant of course, but it wasn't too hard to get the good ones.
Very well done. Nice drama and a variety of interesting characters. I don't like having to do full playthroughs of some characters just to get to the ones I'm actually interested in, or the fact that all the choices are either 'right' or 'wrong' rather than giving you a different way to do things... but still, great game.
Not at all what I was expecting or looking for but... I loved it?! Refreshingly dark without being too creepy or upsetting... at least for me. Would love to see more!
Lovely choices and I very much enjoyed actually being able to stand up for myself sometimes. A bit wordy for my short attention span, but convenient saving, loading, and skipping make up for it.
