This is a collection of mechanics, games, and modules I am mushing together into a game to play in the Wagadu Chronicles setting, a setting of afrofantasy by Twin Drums. If you don't know it, you really should look into it now.
It is currently written as a deeandee module, but I believe it's a poor match since what the setting leans on is directly contradictory to many of that game's core systems and politics.
The first few items up to Mosaic Strict Experience and Quests feel like the core systems of the game, the others are interesting things I feel inspired by that might lend more to flesh out the game later.

Notes to Keep:
There's a great talk on fantasy money on this twitter threat that is worth keeping.
A modular, optional, short (965 words), attested, independent and coreless wilderness exploration system where one player (probably the GM) takes on the role of the environment.
Ready to be plugged in to the free-form RPG or setting of your choice, just add players and one or more six sided dice. If I haven't set the community copies up yet, the entire game can be obtained for free by downloading the jpeg on the right.
Use Finding Styles as the core of the game.
Use a variation of cultures and kith to implement the lineages and the cultures both narratively and mechanically.
Pretty concise and with plenty of room to build from, especially for incorporating memory-related mechanics into it.
Not much needs to be said. I like this a lot!
this pointcrawl system is pretty inspired
might be interesting too, especially if hacked into a system to deal with spirits and similar entities
A pretty neat conceptual character generation system. There's somethiung to inspire here.
these are absolutely great
A nice resource system that could work for things, skills, memories etc. It' s bit clunky but can be boiled down into its bare minimum.
Some very interesting travel and exploration mechanics.
Imma add this here as inspiration or a reminder of a cool dice system, but I don't expect it to be used just yet.
