A collection of games I'm using to test the itch.io app. Here's how it looks so far:

General advice to prepare your game for the itch.io client:

  • Use .zip
  • Tag platforms for each upload
  • No installers

Ping me on Twitter (@fasterthanlime) if you want me to add your game to this collection. If it's a paid game, send me a key to amos@itch.io

Games I'm particularly interested in:

  • Games that have a Linux and/or OSX version
  • Games that use custom engines (Unity / self-contained games are already well supported)
  • Games that require particular dependencies (.NET framework, etc.)

The client is still in the early stages, so there's no public (or private) builds available yet. We'll let you know when there is. In the meantime, you can follow the development on GitHub - the client is open-source (MIT-licensed).

Thanks for your support so far, I'm very excited to bring this to the next level!
