You, the Dungeon.

As an artist is their cryptic painting and a poet their lines of verse, you shall be this grand construction that exists only in the minds and imaginations of those who observe its description.

What you build shall be an extension of yourself, so build fearlessly and with only your ego to guide you.

Perhaps you will show it to prying eyes and curious hands.

Perhaps you will keep it hidden, its mysteries privileged only to you...

The CDC recommends getting 150 minutes of cardio and 2 strength-training exercises in per week. But time is freaking weird, how are you supposed to keep track? With these cute pixel-art cards, of course!

Each card has two objects made up of a total of 30 squares, and each square represents 5 minutes. As you exercise, fill in or mark off the squares, writing any leftover minutes in another box. Once you fill all the boxes, your 150 minutes is complete!

In the center of each card are two additional objects. Every day that you do at least 10 minutes of strength training, mark one off. Finish the whole card each week to work toward a fit, healthy body! 🥳

A Collection of Business Card Games Inspired by Stoicism

Areté is a Greek word that is commonly translated as “excellence”, but its meaning goes beyond that, and could actually be translated as “living as your best self.” And in Stoicism, this would mean living well, according to the famous Stoic virtues Courage, Wisdom, Moderation and Justice.

These small Business Card Games are a mixture of game and thought exercises. They are inspired by many of the teachings and concepts I have studied over the last couple of years. They were created mainly for myself, as a way to deal with my anxiety.

This is a short, solo game that was written for the Asian Devs Together #StopAsianHateJam. It's a game of two halves. Firstly, there's a business card-sized component which you can print out and carry around in your wallet. When someone views you as a perpetual foreigner and asks, "Where are you from?", you can cross out an icon on the card. Later, you can use a series of questions or prompts to help you create a fantasy monster based on the encounter you had, either for the purposes of catharsis or for use in other games. When you've crossed out all the icons on the card, you will have completed the game.
