This game does not include jumpscares. When the protagonist dies, the screen turns black and she screams. However, it's more of a yell, or an "anime scream", than the jarring shriek commonly heard in horror games. It didn't spook me at all :)
While this game does not have jumpscares that flash across the whole screen, it does include a few small things that appear suddenly. They aren't very scary though.
