This is a sister/sibling collection to my collections for transmasculine games and printables/zines.
Unlike that collection, it is not an attempt to list every single such item on itch.io, just ones I run across and specifically want to highlight.
At the point I started these collections, the existing content on itch.io had been heavily biased towards (perisex) transfem publications, and (at least pre-2021) the majority of content in the trans/transgender tags was (perisex) transfem focused.
This collection also includes content related to being not-binary that are neither explicitly nor implicitly TM - I think works about determinate indeterminacy are particularly important to the pool of trans art, and I don't want to misrepresent someone's experiences by putting them in the TM category when that's something they'd find hurtful. There are also a few works by intersex authors who may not be trans, but have things to say I believe anyone looking for trans-related zines should really be thinking about.
Language note - for the purpose of these collections, transfeminine means "gender identity more "feminine" than The Cis are comfortable with," with transmasculine being the corollary. Gender presentation is its own kettle of crabs, despite the root words used.
(Multiple types of experience represented)
This is about being intersex as a distinct spectrum from being cis or trans - it's been included in this collection because I think it's important for perisex/unscreened trans people to have a real understanding of what intersex people deal with.
An intersex writer, on simply not existing as the binary options society allows for.
(Not sure that the writer uses 'trans', but it's certainly on an experience of being not-binary!)
