I think Wanderhome is niche within the RPG world, but in my experience, it's an extraordinarily easy sell to anyone outside of it. Between the Studio Ghibli influence, the cute animals, and the wide-eyed sense of friendly adventure, it's far and away the game that has prompted the most expressions of interest for me.
All of this has made me think about the kind of assumptions we make in our hobby about what people want from their experience. With two campaigns of mostly-new players already behind me, I think this one is going to stick around for a long time.
