usually not a bitsy fan, but this weaves a terrific story with characters you can practically hear. immensely comforted by the idea of a dog/cat heaven. happy that the 'ending' is as happy as one gets.
emotional game with terrific art. love the idea of traversing several generations that are all somehow tied with food. beautiful dialogue about Gried and love coexisting. hits right home.
conveys monogamy in a sensitive, touching way. the art is colorful and the story itself is rich. had much fun with how it played out (as well as the sensitivity of the characters)!
pet cats, solve politics. text-based click and choose consequences.
a fun little puzzle game with nostalgic visuals. glad that it focuses primarily on friendship!
addictively good. just the right amount of hard, too. i can imagine myself going back to this in the future (just to get that perfect score, because i sure as hell didn't now!).
posey is adorable, and so are the different characters! love how cutesy and uncomplicated this is. ran through several endings just because.
the concept of friendship has always made for some of my favorite games. i enjoy the idea of letter-writing, and that there are many choices that could branch out. will definitely have to replay to see what else could be said differently.
surprisingly emotional. lovely graphics, touching music. felt like i was holding my breath the entire time. the context hits you like a truck, but the story that it weaves makes for a human feeling that is never easy to speak into existence. terrific. day by day, we push on.
simple and silly. took me my second try to get it right; the ending when you don't proves to be quite smart. makes you crack a smile. :)
enjoyable, with a great amount of choices! the funky array of characters are all amusing. art is also comfortingly colorful. loved the ending.
bittersweet. explores how one might still feel Grief despite estrangement. ends fairly realistically, and the coffee-making aspect of the game proved to be unique and enjoyable!
a smart way of teaching people money and mindfulness, even if it is set in chile! just click-and-choose by picking what to spend on/prioritize at each turn (text-heavy). pixel art is also nice on the eyes.
it's easy to fail at making a good mental health game, but this one hits all the right spots. tackles very real fears in discussing anxiety and serves to be doubly interesting as it's told from the perspective of Anxiety itself. concludes terrifically, too. definitely worth several playthroughs.
played into three endings just for the heck of it. worth introducing in a classroom for educational purposes. the gravity of it all puts many things into perspective. fuck billionaires.
a story of quiet Grief and how those we love are never truly gone. stalled a bit during one of the tasks, figured it out. heartwarming ending.
admittedly too impatient to finish this (as i am with any puzzle game). nonetheless: vibrant colors, cute plot.
felt like i was actually having a conversation with nick, whose past is familiar and whose present provides great insight. painfully real, reflective, and touching. seemingly straightforward but not in anyway uncomplicated. a personal favorite.
love the dating app-like set-up of swiping! very realistic how each action has an opposite and equal reaction. keeping all three together was a difficult task. the last card was a pleasant surprise!
interesting premise which i would have enjoyed to see more. first bitsy game i played! the music is very earwormy.
educational and well thought out. very few games can manage a game such as this without making players feel like they're being babied. reflects real life and worth recommending to anyone willing to learn more of someone else's perspective, and how their choices build up.
so simple and yet oh so joyful! dialogue is even humorous at times. the art is top notch. liked this one more than i thought i would. :)
visually one of the best i've seen so far. definitely something an english major would enjoy.
pleasant and likable! obviously relevant, but also surprisingly enjoyable with how it allows 'small talk' with people coming in and out. such simple mechanics; would definitely be useful for children learning about COVID guidelines.
quaint and cozy. visually appealing + the song is a perfect match.
cute, but not in any riveting way! straightforward with a fairly diverse set of characters, even though they have the tendency to fall into archetypes of reacting the same ways. overall your run-of-the-mill visual novel (which is not necessarily an insult in any way shape or form)!
