Here's an example: This map has 41 lines. I gradually removed the lines and found it performs fine until around 25 lines have been added, after which it seems to get exponentially slower.

I have the same issue on both my laptop and my much beefier desktop. Here are my specs:

Laptop:

- CPU: Intel Core i7-770HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz

- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060

- RAM: 16 GB

Desktop:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-core

- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti

- RAM: 64 GB

Temporary fix would be to close all menus before you minimize the Masterplan app.

Also accidentally discovered another weird bug while making a gif of the first problem. I cut-and-pasted a subpage within itself which shouldn't be possible(?) it resulted into a weird card (that doesn't look like a sub-page) when I pressed 'Go Up' to leave the subpage I could no longer go back to access it again. (See gif #2 in link)

Hope the gifs will be enough if my explanation wasn't quite sufficient. 😅 Thanks again for looking into these!

- Makes 'Create window' disappear and despite going through 'View > Create' it does not make it appear again

- Makes all windows disappear (even the menu bar)

- [After restoring the window] Once you try to resize the window it closes/crashes

- It just closes/crashes instead of just being minimized

PS. Not really sure but the 'Create window' seems to have the same tendency to disappear when I leave Masterplan on idle for a very long time.

Problem 1: Drag-and-dropping the .plan file used to open it in the window now it doesn't seem to work anymore.

Problem 2: Running a .plan file in a link card opens the plan in another window albeit in an older version of Masterplan (despite directing the "Open file with" windows prompt to the latest version of Masterplan.

In 0.7.2, it is possible to quickly zoom in anywhere with a single scroll. But in 0.8 I have to scroll 10 times to get anywhere - it doesn't seem intended.

The last thing I remember doing was that I created three subpages without renaming them (thinking I'll just rename them later).

Is there any hope of an automatic back-up save somewhere much like that of the 0.7 release?

While I was busy testing out some of the new features (primarily, the new coloring function for tasks), I did notice that the fill ends up matching the color of the box, thus making them completely invisible when deselected. Somehow, this works perfectly fine with checkboxes.

I also want to state that it also looks fine with the fill progression with timers, too.

Normally, I would just update whatever the library is, but apparently this library is critical to operating system functionality and should not be updated else you risk damage to the OS, according to various sources I've found. 

I'm filing this as a bug because on the main page it says 18.04 is the lowest version supported, so I'm not sure if this is intentional or not. I can't update beyond 20.04 LTS for various reasons. Would love to know if I'm wrong and updating this library is actually easy! Thank you for MasterPlan, I love it very much and use it daily :)

EDIT: Running and building from source was relatively painless and seems to work fine. I didn't have to tell it to use a different version of GLIBC or anything. I just now have a version that works on my computer.
