    The Game2Work Game Jam is about experimentation, sharing, collaboration and learning from each other. All Jammers are expected to share their games by uploading their games, assets, source code etc.

    Games are uploaded under the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 Creative Commons license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/).

    This basically means the team that created the game, owns the original content and can do with it as they please, and that Game2Work retains an original copy that other people can download, modify and distribute for non-commercial purposes. 

    All files necessary to run the game, as well as all assets, source code and project files created during the GGJ and necessary to rebuild/compile & link the game from scratch must be uploaded as well. Third party tools, libraries, engines and assets that are used for the game, but not created during the G2W Jam, may be omitted from the G2W Jam project submission. 

    Game Content Policy

    G2W also reserves the right to remove any uploaded games if the content is offensive or unsuitable. This ‬includes but is not limited to:‭ games with ‬harmful‭ ‬or‭ ‬prejudicial‭ themes related‭ ‬to‭ ‬gender,‭ ‬sexual‭ ‬orientation,‭ age, ‬ability,‭ ‬appearance, ethnicity,‭ national origin, ‬citizenship, socioeconomic‭ ‬status,‭ ‬or‭ ‬religion‭. No sexism, racism, discrimination or any kind of exclusion will be tolerated in association with the G2W and we reserve the right to refuse and/or remove content based on our principles. Our communities cross international boundaries, but are not immune to governmental and geopolitical challenges.  Citizenship, nationality and national origin are not barriers to participation in Game2Work Game Jam. We are vocal and active  about these values. We encourage inclusive and welcoming environments in all our locations. We also expect the same consideration and respect to be applied to games and content created during G2W events.

    Be‭ ‬mindful‭ ‬of‭ ‬your‭ ‬surroundings‭ ‬and‭ ‬of‭ ‬your‭ ‬fellow‭ ‬participants.‭ ‬Alert‭ ‬community‭ ‬leaders and site organizers immediately‭ ‬if‭ ‬you‭ ‬notice‭ ‬a‭ ‬dangerous‭ ‬situation,‭ ‬someone‭ ‬in‭ ‬distress,‭ ‬or‭ ‬violations‭ ‬of‭ ‬this‭ ‬Code‭ ‬of‭ ‬Conduct,‭ ‬even‭ ‬if‭ ‬they‭ ‬seem‭ ‬inconsequential.

    UNACCEPTABLE‭ ‬BEHAVIOR

    Unacceptable‭ ‬behaviors‭ ‬include:‭ ‬intimidating,‭ ‬harassing,‭ ‬abusive,‭ ‬discriminatory,‭ ‬derogatory‭ ‬or‭ ‬demeaning‭ ‬speech‭ ‬or‭ actions‭ ‬by‭ ‬any‭ ‬participant‭ ‬in‭ ‬our‭ ‬site locations or‭ ‬online community,‭ ‬at‭ ‬all‭ ‬related‭ ‬events‭, and‭ ‬in‭ ‬one-on-one‭ ‬communications‭ ‬carried‭ ‬out‭ ‬in‭ ‬the‭ ‬context‭ ‬of‭ ‬community‭ ‬business.‭ ‬Community‭ ‬event‭ ‬venues‭ ‬may‭ ‬be‭ ‬shared‭ ‬with‭ ‬members‭ ‬of‭ ‬the‭ ‬public‭; ‬please‭ ‬be‭ ‬respectful‭ ‬to‭ ‬all‭ ‬patrons‭ ‬of‭ ‬these‭ ‬locations and abide by the rules of the venue as well as this G2W Code of Conduct.

    Harassment‭ ‬includes‭ ‬harmful‭ ‬or‭ ‬prejudicial‭ ‬verbal‭ ‬or‭ ‬written‭ ‬comments‭ ‬related‭ ‬to‭ ‬gender,‭ ‬sexual‭ ‬orientation,‭ age, ‬ability,‭ ‬appearance, ethnicity,‭ national origin, ‬citizenship, socioeconomic‭ ‬status,‭ ‬or‭ ‬religion‭; ‬deliberate‭ ‬intimidation,‭ ‬stalking‭ ‬or‭ ‬following‭; ‬harassing‭ ‬photography‭ ‬or‭ ‬recording‭; ‬sustained‭ ‬disruption‭ ‬of‭ ‬talks‭ ‬or‭ ‬other‭ ‬events‭; ‬inappropriate‭ ‬physical‭ ‬contact; ‬and‭ ‬unwelcome‭ ‬sexual‭ ‬attention.

    CONSEQUENCES‭ ‬OF‭ ‬UNACCEPTABLE‭ ‬BEHAVIOR

    Anyone‭ ‬asked‭ ‬to‭ ‬stop‭ ‬unacceptable‭ ‬behavior‭ ‬is‭ ‬expected‭ ‬to‭ ‬comply‭ ‬immediately.

    If‭ ‬a‭ ‬community‭ ‬member‭ ‬engages‭ ‬in‭ ‬unacceptable‭ ‬behavior,‭ ‬local ‬G2W organizers‭ ‬may‭ ‬take‭ action‭ to stop the unacceptable behavior,‭ ‬up‭ ‬to‭ ‬and‭ ‬including‭ ‬a‭ ‬temporary‭ ‬ban‭ ‬or‭ ‬permanent‭ ‬expulsion‭ ‬from‭ ‬the‭ G2W ‬community‭ ‬without‭ ‬warning‭ (‬and‭ ‬without‭ ‬refund‭ ‬in‭ ‬the‭ ‬case‭ ‬of‭ ‬a‭ ‬paid‭ ‬event‭)‬.
