Over the past several weeks, I've been working on the Yatzy project very well until I hit a dead end where I couldn't figure out how to get the highest pair to be detected first instead of detecting the first pair in die array order.
Perhaps I should've made a list and sort them from the highest die face value going down. That way, I won't be dealing with complicated codes just to make it work. Shortly after I typed this part, I've decided to try it out to see if this is any better than I expected. As it turns out, it does work better than making a very complicated switch, and go through all the combinations.
Looks like I might finish my Yatzy project soon, after all.
While I was having struggles with that Yatzy code at the time, I began working on another passion project I had in mind--which is basically Mastermind with a Wordle twist. I call it, Master Mindle.
I've already made some progress by making the graphics on Photoshop, and slowly making the game mechanics, albeit I will work on the Mastermind style first before doing Mindle.
Again, I will try to come up with some good codes to make it work wonders like I did with Yatzy right now.
I will post up an update regarding Master Mindle around this coming week.
