You have been condemned by the Goddess for your wrongdoings. You were turned into a wolf and must demonstrate your character in front of her to become human again.

Contrary to what the title may imply, this is not a werewolf-themed version of normal solitaire. It’s a narrative strategy game where, as a newly cursed werewolf, you try to navigate a series of random events without becoming a complete monster or meeting your fate.

You start with a handful of Beastliness and Vitality tokens. You gain Beastliness by doing Bad Things, and can spend it to take advantage of your fellow beings. You spend Vitality when you risk your lycanthropic existence. If your Beastliness gets too high or your Vitality hits zero, it’s game over.

There are a variety of other tokens, representing money, generosity, strength, and other qualities gained and spent in each event.

Ah yes — the events. Each turn a card will be drawn from the deck showing some kind of event happening, You can run into a busker and potentially regain some humanity by listening, or brusquely ignore them. You can visit your old haunts and leave a gift, or you can rob the place. In most cases, unless you’re willing to spend some tokens, you’ll be forced into the worst decision.
