Hello,
I'm choosing to hop into the world of game designing just as a hobby.
I wanted to be a game designer ever since I could play videogames, but when I started college and realized it required me to basically learn a whole new language I gave up without even trying.
I decided to be an Art Major instead. Good choice.
After doing art for a few years I fell into a bad place and dropped out of school.
Many years later I find myself working towards IT Management and learning coding of all things!
It kind of felt like it was finally time as I have lost a lot of my creative drive when it came to creating art for fun.
Even the idea of creating games has changed that.
I've started taking notes of game ideas
Started being proactive about utilizing my time better and being productive, not just being on my phone while Netflix is playing something I'm not actually paying attention to.
I like how even the idea of making games has made me happier, so I'm going to work towards that even if its just a hobby.
