A scary noise in the night has spooked your poor rabbits, and now all 100 of them have scattered across the valley! Run, climb, jump, and call out commands to your darling bunnies to bring them home to safety in this short n’ sweet puzzle platformer — but make sure to be home before dark.
Don’t mistake this for an action game — while it looks like a puzzle-based Metroidvania, this is a game about timing and planning, not fast reflexes. Your character is slow and you have to plan out jumps and routes across the screen to manage traversal.
The game’s puzzles are physics-based. You can call out commands to your rabbits, such as “Hello!” to get their attention (for a few seconds) and “Go!” to make them run (straight ahead heedless of danger). With these commands, and with the help of the gadgets littered around the valley, you guide each rabbit to safety in a nearby stump.
There are other problems you’ll have to deal with. Not all rabbits are equally obedient. You’re not alone in the valley, either, and it’s not just helpful hikers that you’ll run into. There’s also the everpresent problem that it’s a lot easier to go down than up.
While the controls are a little sluggish, given the way that running and jumping works in this game, they’re used strategically, not casually. As in Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, I think the more realistic movement is a key part of the game’s structure.
