House Isometric Tile Map

In a bid to excise my liminal horror and isometric art kick I'm making and releasing tile map sets of various rooms found in 90's suburban homes. The goal is to give the setting map an unsettling but not openly horror vibe.

Tiles will be 192px in width, pixelated, 1:2 iso and will look best with npc's 5 heads tall

The first room, lower bathroom will be a free download released later this week. The remaining rooms will be paywalled under a new project

Tile-set Outline

2 Week Update

After being helpfully informed by some redditors that I had woefully misunderstood the fundamentals of Liminalism. I will be removing that description from this project.  The aspects from some liminal horror examples I have been trying to pull from have been the unsettling feelings that things are not quite right or normal enough but still odd.

The color scheming has been the strongest point in this project I think. There's the traditional sense of warmth that comes through from dated home décor but it still feels a bit gross.

I also realized when putting this scene together with all the created assets that I do not have a toilet and that is a bit important for a bathroom, While the waffle stomping implications are horrific I will remedying this issue asap
