This might feel a bit random, but I don't know if I've ever properly taken the time to address this.

Donations make me happy in a way that I'm not sure I can describe! Of course, it's great to have more resources, but just the thought that someone would consider a game I've put up for free to be worth money to them... It's a flattery unlike any other ❤

I often make most of the game, if not practically all of it, so it really feels like I'm being shown that what I make has value and is appreciated.

Firstly, I'm not saying anything here to encourage more donations! They'll happen when they happen, and that's part of what makes them so delightful to see.

But I wanted to be clear about what happens with your money. You deserve to know that, I feel.

Because your donations mean so much to me, I very strictly use that money ONLY for my game development. Until I'm making a large amount of money on the regular, I'm using it to support the better games I want to make in the future.

I was actually able to spend a little bit of it, a while ago. It was really surreal... buying something for a project of mine with money that's been given to me by you all! But I have that thing now! And it's all thanks to the donations.

So... I just wanted to express my appreciation. I wanted to finally be clear about something that I don't think I ever clarified.
