A new week begins...

Good morning!

I'm still a bit shocked at the attention this is getting. As I have stated before, this was a personal project I started on that I wanted to see, that kind of grew into something that I wanted to share, to where it is now. It's very exciting to see so much attention and interaction, that it's added a new gear to this whole process.

"But KL... there... hasn't been any progress..."

Ah-ha. You see, there actually has been a decent amount going on in the background, and I was really hoping to get an update this past weekend, but as I was about to get the finishing touches on the game, and start a round of testing, something stopped working. Then the fix caused something else to break, then the domino effect happened, and I had to do some digging in the code's entirety to figure out what happened. That obviously took a lot longer to fix, but I think I have a good foundation for what I want, and just need to run a few times before putting it up for all you to enjoy/rip apart.

I say "rip apart" though with fondness however, as your comments and suggestions have really helped to flesh out this thing. I've had a few moments of "eureka!" that got me excited to work on it, so I've logged those away when we get to the next phase.

I plan on getting the new update sometime this week. I work a standard 9-5 with a shitty commute, so testing will be where I can find it, and even then, it's just to make sure the game works as intended. There will most assuredly be bugs and imbalance issues, but those will come in time.

Excellent news! Also, don't feel bad if it takes a smidge longer than a week, just knowing an update is in the pipeline, coming soon™ is enough for me!
