To promote the game/the development of the remake and help spread it around: The Mighty Palm is hosting a Sigbrand tournament!

Rules

- Must be 18 or older to enter, or have a parent/guardian's permission.

- You must NOT use passwords. All attempts must start from room 1, with no powerups, no extra lives, and a score of 0.

- You must record or stream your attempt in order for it to be valid. When submitting your attempt, you must include your preferred name and final score. All submissions are to be sent to themightypalm@gmail.com before 7/31st

Prizes

The player with the highest in-game score at the end of the month will be declared the winner.

The winner will receive a cash prize. For the duration of the tournament, 50% of all purchases of Sigbrand will be added to the prize pool! (No purchase is necessary to enter. The game can be downloaded for free.) To sweeten the deal further, Palm will include 50% of all past purchases to the pool as well as $50 out of pocket. The current prize is $62. (as of this point... Sigbrand has made $25 in gross revenue)

The top 3 winners will also get to take a seat with Palm to design their own new character, stage, power-up to add to the Sigbrand remake!

The Remake?

The Remake's development is now underway.  You can follow the progress on the development of Super Sigbrand (title WIP) by following my Itch.io, Ko-Fi, or joining the Palm community Discord (Links below)

How can I enter?

Simply record or stream yourself playing the game, and send the VOD or footage to themightypalm@gmail.com. That's it! As for who can enter, anyone at all is eligible to compete and win! Tell your friends, tell your family, tell your dog if your dog is better at platformers than you!

Remember, no purchase is necessary! You do not have to buy the game to be eligible to win.
