Game Jam Day 1 Part 1

This will be not my first time making a game, but the first time (hopefully) finishing one, I will be attempting this Jam solo

I will try to learn how to work in Godot (Only worked in Unity before), I'll also be doing the art for the game (In 8-bit, because I have a little bit of confidence in my skills there, aslearning to draw from scretch doesn't seem feasible in two weeks), I'll also be doing the sounds and music for my game, which will be my first time composing something (Altho I have musical education)

As for the Genre I'll be doing a Roguelike, just because I like the genre and also have some ideas how to incorporate the theme "1 Inventory slot"

For the general theme I want to make it about a fire sorcerer who needs to save a city that's far away, but he only has 5(?) days to get there. The 1 Inventory slot is the weapon he'll bring with him, as fighting enemies while having access to only 1 element can be tricky (I think that him being able to use magic of only 1 element will also play nicely into the theme)

For the work that I want done today is a simple prototype of at least being able to do damage to an enemy
