I'm back!

Wow, so the last few days have been a bit weird. I had some serious insomnia issues. Along with that, I didn't do any work on my game. Luckily, last night I had a hit of inspiration and I'm diving back in with something completely new!

Yes, I'm beginning to build a whole new game (sorta). I'm actually adding a new scene with completely different gameplay than the Space scene I've been working on. I actually have another scene planned with completely different gameplay as well, but this is the one I want to work on.

This new scene I've dubbed The Factory. My idea is to have this be a sort of colony sim. But instead of your usual pawns, colonists, dupes, or whatever, I'll have robots! They have simpler needs than a living entity (I know it's a game and I can make things work however I want!). So, I have an energy meter and a damage meter.

These things will be mostly living off of their state machine. I have 9 different states already (One is start, so it doesn't exactly count). Already thrown down 14 variables too. There is so much to go into this little thing. I need to add an energy source, hell I need to draw something in the scene. I need to add some sort of repair bay. I have to actually create some sort of robot.

Anyway, it's a good start so far, I'll see if I can keep going on this one.
