Heya people of the internet :)
Been busy.
Working on learning a lot has left me with not a lot of time to update things so here we go.
General Updates:
- Been learning the Rust programming language. This is more or less to allow for some more ability to make things down the road.
- Been doing some research on multithreading. With every program you have to know when to go for a multithreaded approach to see how much the project can handle and how far you can take things in terms of performance.
- Been working on the RTS project some more and am at a point where the main RTS mechanics are in place. What this means is I will be mainly working on interface changes and more specific game mechanics more related to the spin I plan to put on this game.
- Been doing research on a few different technologies:
- Unity's DOTS system. (Been mainly focusing on what it is and how someone could replicate it in another medium)
- A community management discord bot. (Mainly looking into automating the process of posting to my social media accounts through a discord bot)
- A shader screen modifier (This would be for applying shader effects to my screen as transitions and other cool things to stream on twitch)
It's quite a lot lol.
Going to continue to keep at building things and once I get some more to report like videos and the like I'll be shouting them out.
