Revenge of the Antagonist

SUMMARY

Gerald spends years acting in several movies and shows, but he's only a C-List actor at best. Because of his vibes, he's usually casted as the antagonist. However, his old classmate from acting school, Damian, is a popular actor and a heartthrob. Damian's existence reminds Gerald of his insecurities because his rival's success makes him feel like a loser. One day, Gerald auditions for the antagonist role in a romance drama and gets casted. By chance, the male lead in that same drama happens to be Damian. In the drama, the antagonist, Gerald, will have to get between the female lead and the male lead, Damian. Because of his bubbling jealousy and insecurities, Gerald swears to use various underhand tactics on set to embarrass his rival. Damian, on the other hand, is not going to sit back and let himself be provoked. 

CHARACTERS

Gerald is aromantic and asexual. He loves noir, so he usually only auditions for projects in that genre. He's not interested in romance, so he's never cared about acting in the romance genre. But for once, he decides to act in one in hopes of getting his name out there.

Damian is gay, but he's never told anyone about his sexuality. He's always the male lead in heterosexual romance stories,  so he's not interested in the projects he gets. Since he's been acting as the male lead for years, he'd sometimes flirt and say cheesy lines without intent. 

I'm so excited to share with you all details about an upcoming project I'm working on! At first, Revenge of the Antagonist is about jealousy and petty revenge, but it'll turn wholesome. Two people who hate each other at first will slowly start to respect and understand one another! I've been making visual novels for quite a while and only now am I starting to feel comfortable with talking about sexuality (Because of my own issues dealing with homophobia and my identity. But I'm all good now!). Anyway, you'll be noticing more of that topic in my later projects! I'm so excited to share this project with you all once it's finished!
