I know it's been some time since I last posted. The tail end of last year I focused more on books I was working on as well as taking a break in December for the holidays. With a new year comes new plans. This year I at least want to get a demo up, even if it has placeholder assets, just to get something up for people to test. I've started working on some art and have the main story and paths planned out. My games are going to be choose your own adventure games, sort of visual novels, but less of the typical visual novel setup.
The story is going to be based on something I did for a reimagining of Banban if it'd stuck with the kindergarten route. Don't worry, it's nothing like Banban and it's set in a daycare. Think of this story more as more of a toy focused game where you play as a parent who got a call from their kid that something happened and they're trapped in one of the rooms by the toys. All of the characters have gone through a few passes at redesigns to be as far from the initial reimagining as possible. All of the characters will play a part in the game. It's not going to be in chapters, although I do have plans to expand the universe of the game into more games if it does well.
For now, I'm excited to finally be making things for it and can't wait to start putting things together. I do also have books I'm working on along with other projects, so this will take some time. I'm also a one woman show in a sense since I'm doing this all myself, even the art. So please be patient. Thi sis already a fun project to tackle, and I can't wait to be able to share it with everyone.
