Here’s some new year anthology news for you!
Anantakara was nominated by Schallwelle, the German award for musicians and people active in the field of electronic music, in the categories Artist international and Best International Album for 2023. The voting appears to still be open as I write this, so, consider casting a few! Also watch the music video for the track “Nothing Really Ends. A beginning, an unfolding, an ending.”
Space Is Hell from Thomas Jude Barclay Morrison’s project The Soviet Space Programme has been completely remastered, and will be re-released on cassette and CD later this year.
The Photoelectric Defect released Circle of Stars (WIP)
Nil by Nose released Music for Sketchbooks 2023
Don’t forget that Blasting Rod will be playing live in LA on the 6th. And, it is possible, but not certain, that the show might be streamed live on the bar’s YouTube or Twitch channels, so if you’re not able to get there, like me, you may want to check in those places to see if it is live online too.
And, with that, we’re off on this new calendar year, plus perihelion is in a few hours, when Earth is closest to the Sun!
Finally, of course, be sure to check out the entire anthology project at Hermetic Library, Itch, Bandcamp, and in all the digital streaming and online shops.
