Current News on engine + others :

 - So after accidentally breaking game maker on my computer as well as Godot, I didn't have much I could work with. Then I finally got access to the blog letter since it wouldn't let me access the website and still wont, meaning I am unable to access letters like these which isn't great.

 After hearing that unity's new changes will not affect lower versions of the engine I have decided I shall use the engine to make this game and spend some of my time continuing with trying to learn C++ to start making my games directly in code or program a game engine.

 If anyone knows any good channels or videos for game engine development, or just coding games directly in C++ it would be highly appreciated if you could suggest any.

What I have done this week :

- After decided to continue with unity and seeing the project is still there even though I uninstalled unity hub, I have only managed to do a few things but I will catch back onto the game mood.

- I fixed the wall jumping as well as normal jump as you couldn't go into gaps in the ground since you would just get stuck.

- I fixed a few scripts to do with the Item system and deleted unnecessary code.

- Made all the pickaxes items that can be picked up and shown in inventory, and just items in general

- I also tried making some block designs but in the end wasn't happy with them.


I did a bunch of planning this week on new features that will be implemented later on, for example I've decided on a different type of enemy to the one I originally came up with as bad spirits.
