Senior Thesis, Journal entry #5: Trial by Fire

First off. Eraser button. Please Decker.

Moving on. My drawings are rudimentary, hence my shirking away at posting them. Nevertheless they exist in all their...glory, I suppose. I also had trouble drawing physically, I do this thing where I focus on something until it puts me into a rage. So I tore up my first two papers of story boarding and went back to digital on Notability (which definitely goes against the "no deletion" clause that I just so gallantly seem to ignore). Digital drawing is by all means a hassle, so I'm shocked, genuinely surprised I've become so estranged to just pencil and paper that it'd make me this upset.  I haven't done formal drawing since Fall semester of  2019 however,  and the pencils we used were much better than the mechanical pencils I hurriedly bought in the library. By the way, on a broader note, I don't want to hurry anymore. Even so, a pencil is a freakin pencil, it works just fine so brain please work, I need you right now.

But that noisy neighbor stresses me out enough. I let it go, I'll focus on what I can do, which is drawing on my big ol' iPad. Whatever, time marches on, as will I. I need good sleep in oder to have good ideas. That's how I'll recover from this.

I've read most of the chapters of Schell. they're short chapters, so I read 'em twice, the second time being for notes. I'll post a screenshot of that just to say "hey I'm doing it." I'll also post the drawings of course (I think there's four), and some new story boarding on Notability. I still need twelve in total however (so three more).

That's it for this week of September 25-29th.

If I figure out how to attach photos here they'll go here. Otherwise it'll go on Teams.
