The Mansion: Level Design and Scripting

Good News!!! and bad news :(

Good news is, I have begun designing levels beyond the tutorial, similar to the two showcased below, these levels are designed to introduce patterns and mechanics, including a level designed to teach the player that the restrictions of the game may force them to move boxes onto the objective in a certain order, and a level introducing multiple objectives per floor and floors with different wall shapes, which you can see here. Bad news is, for reasons I cannot ascertain, I have found an error within my system for changing levels, so I will be doing some work fixing that.



In other news I have begun work on a light soundtrack for the game, whether it will make into final release is unclear, depending on whether I can figure how to implement it, but either way, it should be fun. I'm not sure if I can put audio on here, if I can figure it by next week I'll see if I can't have a basic track ready by then, otherwise it'll be either in the game or in a companion video for use while playing the game.
