A Duck With A Shotgun (Working Title) Devlog

Hello world! (cringe)

I wanted to post a devlog somewhere significant each time I get a chance to work on my game A Duck With A Shotgun (working Title). This will help me be more consistent in my game development, and hopefully create anticipation for the game so I can start a kick-starter at some point and do this full time.

Hopefully the game will become my vision for it.  A top-down, loot-grinder similar to games like Diablo, and POE. However the character is a Duck and exclusively uses different shotguns (like...  a LOT of shotguns).  Other elements to the game are a limited resource system, factions depending on the species of bird, and (possibly) perma-death for the character. The items and materials brought back to the factions will remain across characters sort of like an in game economy. I want there to be some hand crafted terrain, like major faction cities or outposts, but the rest of the world should be almost open world and randomly generated ; TBD.

I am currently developing Unity skills, and working through some basic sprites for my game. Including the Duck w/ a shotgun, standing in place.
