Hello, its me Tyler. I am happy to say I plan on releasing plenty of versions of this project, and with v1.2 releasing tomorrow at 7:30 am EST, I will detail you with how the game is going and the history of this game.
We actually have v1.3 ready to go with a planned release of 8/28/23 - 8/30/23. As for v2.0, we have some things done, I am going to say the theme of the update is Jungle Mysterys, and should release sometime from 9/10/23 to 9/15/23.
TLDR: I started with just a 1 hour youtube video, and a school computer, So, if you doubt yourself. Just think of this.
As for the history of the game, it all started in 2020, during the pandemic, I was in fourth and fifth grade at the time, and the school issued us computers. Now like a normal child, I learned nothing from these online classes, and so I got bored, and as was it is at the time. I found dani when scrolling through my home page. (We miss you, Hope you are doing well.) And his videos inspired me, I started as a game stealer, I would find small games and not change a thing, eventually I stopped, but, my first real game is seen in THIS video at the 12:32 mark, then, i stopped fast forward to 2021/Early 2022. Im in my 6th grade career class, when we were told to find a career we liked, and to do the activity listed with it. It was a problem where you corrected a ruby script to display names in a dictionary. And I, having no previous scripting knowledge, looked up easiest coding languages to learn, and it brought up python. Fast forward to when I get home, I go on my couch and watch and follow along with the Mosh Hamendani tutorial to learn python in 1 hour, after watching it 3 times, I decide to make a game, I boot up the interpreter I used when I first started, onlinegdb.com. And I spend hours the first month of development, I get ready for release, and just then I get "Burnt Out". Its a feeling where I want to do the thing, but I do it so much, that its not fun. But after like 2 weeks of being "Burnt Out" I get a hot streak. but then, I ran into an issue I could not solve. Fast forward 2 months, I decide to give it another go on a new project, named PuzX, I still have the file of the last prototype before I landed on Dragons of Legend, so if you want to see that, Just tell me. Then, I took a break from PuzX to work on Smile. Smile was a text based horror game, where you played as Nathans family, And you would have found out the secret of long-peak woods. But then I just quit it all, that brings me to to 8th grade, I am now 14 and have been working with python for 2 years, coming on 3 soon.
