A demo of Deathlock, a short horror game, coming soon!

So I've been working on a project that's been on a shelf with me and my s.o. for a while, and last week I was like, fuck it. I'm going to punch the whole thing in the engine.

Four days later, that's what I had done, and we started on graphics.

This story, contrary to Said the Stars, is aimed for mature audiences who are fan of graphic horror. The content taglist is as follows: claustrophobia, psychological horror, semi-graphic violence, referenced sexual content, torture, religion, death. These warnings will be presented on the actual game site as well once it is uploaded, so please be mindful of these before playing or placing a purchase!

In this visual novel you follow the story of Dall, a youngling of faith trying to help their friend, Tristan, to lift a curse of undeath. However, as the relationship between the two deteriorates, Tristan's humanity wanes and Dall's faith wavers, can Dall make it out of the situation alive?

The estimated completion time of the game is only approximately 2 hours, so this is very much a small, quaint little horror project examining a very, very toxic relationship, nature of love and obsession, and the feeling of being trapped.

We will publish a short demo either late in August or early in September, and a full game will be available for purchase before the end of this year!

And, worry not, this will not put Stars on hiatus - the development is still ongoing and the schedule of new chapter before the end of this year still stands. This is just a case of "two cakes" for you horror and romance lovers.
