Responding to Feedback by Nicolas Browning

This week started with the group going over the feedback for the game from our producers. The biggest issue I could control was the fact that the ghost wasn't presenting as enough of a threat to player.

The first thing I did was adjust all the numbers so that the ghost would gain player success faster and therefore be more active. The second thing I did was properly implement the fuse box mechanic so that the ghost was able to turn off power to the restaurant and also would chase the player directly while the lights were out. This feature combined with a special particle effect makes for a more traditional horror game segment where the player must run from the monster and turn the lights back on.

Another thing I did was I finally took it upon myself to make a better building for my rat race system. Initially this was on slate for another member of the group, but he had too much to do, and I had too little, so I took it on. I ended up having time to throw in an easter egg as well when making the scenery bit. Pictures attached.
