Thwip UI Development Progress (Bugs Fixes for multiplayer, remaking the Char Selector).

Good night, I'm Martin and I’m going to tell you about what I did the week from the 8th to the 14th of June of 2023

Like last week, I tried to create a new way to implement the character selection screen that can work with multiplayer plugins, cause I'm not really sure the one we have right now works that fine, but sadly like I said before, I tried but I didn't accomplish it, but I made significant advances in finding a solution, so I will we working on that for now, and is going to be my main concern among other UI elements I need to fix/implement. and I need to put full speed cause is the last week of the month.

If we talk about problems that I have this week, all of them are problems that I haven't been able to solve this week., problems about the possession of the player and the information I'm saving in the game instance for the game, but luckily and with hard work I can solve the problems surrounding this aspect of the game, and if I'm able to solve it things will be very easy for me after that. This week along bug fixing, I made the loading screen, a simple widget that allows the game to load the next level on the background more smoothly and that makes the player look at a loading screen instead of everything just stooping for a moment I will show the picture of the screen and  the basic blueprint behind it, the code behind it is really messy and to be honest is not implemented to it fullness, so I will not show that today.

 

I will keep improving forward and making things easier for my team.
