Thwip Network Developing Progress

Mehki Cannon 6/16/2023 Networking lead

This past week we were able to get replication of player shooting in a personal project but not our team's game. As a team, I feel like we accomplished great things this week, but we're still behind schedule. Our game isn't quite close to completion, but there's a lot there. As for the networking department, I feel like are rate of progression oscillates. At one point my partner and I will be making great strides, then we'll suddenly be faced with a wall of struggle.

One way I've found to kind of get around our problems was to implement our work into personal projects and integrate them later. However, integration has mostly turned out to be more than it's worth. So, It's good to understand the process of things in our own set up, but having to put it with the team's work makes the whole experience annoying.

As for the team being behind, the only thing we can really do is work more. Rather, continue working without slowing down too much. There isn't too much time left so we're obviously going to have to cut some features for now. But, if we  can all pick up the slack and/or overcome our struggles then we can make a decent final product.
