This month’s update to the Wasteland Woes early access increases the book’s page count by 61 pages (213 → 264)! In addition to a large number of new stat blocks, this bumper update includes rules for rookie player characters and supporting classes you can add to non-player characters you want to grow alongside player characters.

While in early access, Wasteland Woes is exclusively available at spilledale.com.

General Updates

• Updated all stat block formatting in line with the vehicle stat blocks in Wasteland Wheels.
• Reviewed the resistances and immunities of stat blocks across the board, making changes where it made sense to do so.
• Revised the formatting of resistances and immunities of all creature stat blocks.

Creatures

• Added the following creature stats chapters:
  • Lashworm, including statistics for the Lashworm.
  • Ooze, including statistics for the Crimson Dread, Ice Ooze, and Spitting Ooze.
  • Marshal, including statistics for the Marshal.
  • Psirena, including statistics for the Psirena.
  • Quakeworm, including statistics for the Quakeworm.
  • Stranger, including statistics for the Mathomancer, Remembrancer, and Warpweaver.
  • Turret, including statistics for the Machine Gun Turret, Flamer Turret, Dual Machine Gun Turret, Quad Machine Gun Turret, Gauss Gun Turret, Missile Turret, Anti-Aircraft Turret, Comms Control Turret, and Shield Generator Turret.
  • Serpent Vine, including statistics for the Serpent Vine.
• Updated the following creature stats chapters:
  • Volusa, adding statistics and lore for the Tankbot and Tankbot Submersible.

Appendices

Added a new appendix, Appendix B: Minor Characters. It includes the following new rules:

• Rules for playing Rookie characters and 11 rookie stat blocks.
• Rules for Supporting Classes you can add to non-player character stat blocks, including the Talent, Technician, and Trooper.

Formerly Released Issues

As part of the above updates, content first published in the early access’ original Issue 5 has been copied into the book. Issue 5 can no longer be downloaded separately.
