A ripple glides across your scalp. Like something many-legged crawling. You remember who you were; kind, selfless, caring. Perhaps, you start to wonder, if it was all a farce.

Host is a two-player tabletop roleplaying game exploring a parasite and its host. Using only a deck of standard playing cards, one player will embody a parasite attempting to modify the mind of the other player.

Throughout play, you will find yourself exploring the memories of an individual; an individual that at some point became residence to a malicious entity. This parasite will endeavour to twist your memories to its own selfish desires, while the host must preserve their sense of self, repressing memories, and fighting to keep their identity.

By the end of the game, you will have a rich history of a person, perhaps once noble and righteous, fallen to the dark whims of an evil within. Perfect to star as your next big bad in another tabletop game.
