Because this is the final week of our class, the pressure to have this build of the game in the best possible shape was significantly increased. My biggest issues with this build were the volume bars and a bug that made the UI visible on all screens, not just the game.
First of all, I worked on fixing the UI bug that had been present ever since we created the game mode instead of hard coding it into the level blueprints. Instead of playing around with Booleans, I fixed this by creating an event I would call on every level where I wanted my UI to appear. And I was able to fix the volume bars as well. It was a matter of finding the correct tutorial and modifying the correct things to get me the functionality I was expecting.
