I'm Meadows, an artist and a game designer who came here under the name SharkShark with my first project - Reflection.
One day Salim woke up in a strange prison, set to keep him out from reaching the truth about his life. Why is he here, why are some of his friends are here and who controls everything? And most importantly - what is that truth and will he be able to accept it? Join him on his journey to find out!
The story will contain mostly themes such as toxic masculinity, nihilism and LGBTQ+ struggles and will briefly touch on themes of racism, propaganda, religion and mental issues. The last themes involvment in story is subject to change regarding the amount of each theme's presentation in the final product.
In short Reflection is an rogue-lite with turn-based combat system about guy named Salim trying to understand himself and the world around him. In combat he uses skills of 7 different types - 6 for colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple; and one for combinations of colors - pure or white. Each room contains rewards - new skills, items or resources to waste later. There are also special skills that require EN(energy) and passive skills.
At the end of February or at the beginning of March I will finally post test build of the game that will contain only 1 or 2 floors and start of plot, to check bugs and get feedback about skill balance.
Full release of the game is planned on Summer or Fall of 2023.
