So, I have seen this happen to other creators of games so I was half prepared. My PC has died. The power went down for a fraction of a second and then when it came back up...dead PC.

The good news is that I backup a lot. I know this is how stuff just vanished and cannot be found again, so I planned ahead. What I didn't plan on was that this was my last Windows computer. This will cause me some headache in the short term, but shouldn't slow the project down for more than a week or two.

In other good news, I am house sitting this weekend and was going to be away from being able to make progress anyways. I am just glad I didn't buy the new game I was eyeing last night.
