I just wanted to make a post showing my appreciation of people downloading and at least trying out my games. I haven't made anything that I'm necessarily proud of just yet, but I have been having fun making these little projects.
If you think any of these short little side projects are interesting, let me know and please consider supporting. I always appreciate feedback and requested features.
Thank you to everyone who has downloaded my games, I know they aren't the best but I am still working on a number of projects and I hope I can start focusing on more polished projects in the future. The first step was "bounce" which I used as a way to make myself start working on a theme resource I can use for my future projects in godot. I need to refine and flesh out the ui theme more so it's actually reusable, but I finally got my color scheme into a theme.
I'm still working on "dogmage" and I'm hoping I can have something worth showing off soon. If you want to help me make that project a reality, please consider becoming a patron. The game is going to have a number of modes including a story which I'm working on. I think the first thing I'll be working to complete for "dogmage" is a procedural level/content system for an open world mode where every new save is a new world and will offer (hopefully) unique challenges and experiences. This is going to take a while since I'll need to make a ton of assets for this feature and work on making sure they all blend together well and in ways that don't break. I have already created some functionality regarding terrain generation, and I'm going to be working on optimization techniques for that. One of the big things I'm contemplating doing is having the main meshes in the world be dynamically combined into chunked meshes. This would allow me to use dynamic culling and LOD methods and would give players direct control over aspects to make the game run the best for their machine.
Once again, thank you so much for downloading my projects. Stay tuned for upcoming XR projects and "dogmage" updates. I started exploring VRChat world creation. I have already created a range of things in Neos and would like to start making more complex worlds and ideas in both of those ecosystems.
