Briefly explain your games interpretation of the Pacifist theme?
The game avoids violence by removing the need for enemies in a puzzle-platforming genre. The player only needs to figure out how to reach the goal.

Did you enjoy the jam? Is there anything you'd change if you could start over?
Yes! I would like to spend more time on creating additional levels for the game. (Although I might do this after the jam anyway!)

Aren't you awesome for being creative and taking part?

Yup

awesome idea! the puzzles were done very well to complement the mechanics ^_^

(in unity, you could 9-slice the tongue, set the sprite renderer draw mode to "sliced" and adjust the width, so it doesnt stretch like when you scale it)

We always talk about doing a "Lick" mechanic like this for some Overcooked style game. It was nice to see an interesting platformer. I was a fool and first I could just use WASD to begin with, and only on level 3 I realised I can move with arrow keys! It worked well, I liked how the movement ended up progressing. I did end up getting stuck though on the last level!

Finally, launching your tongue at ice is DANGEROUS! Thankfully this frogs tongue was not vulnerable to the dangers we face!

This is great. I've wanted to do some similar mechanics myself, good job making it work and feel good. Took me a little bit to get the controls, partially because I was ignoring the prompts in the earlier levels and just goofing around. The last level was perfect, I thought I was stuck from completing until I took a second to think about it.

Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks so much for playing and commenting!

Warning to linux users this is windows only even though it says everything please change this OP

Developer

Changed it! Not sure why it doesn't work... Unity says it should work on all 3?

No, you need to export WinZip, LinZip and MacZip Separately. IDK abt unity but that’s how godot works and unity is fairly similar.

I see, maybe I'll try to get this working in the future (I'm a bit of a beginner). Thanks for your help!
