Very interesting game. Very "buggy" in a good way.

What a impressive game! The gameplay is so cool and original.
Nice work :D
The mechanic is super cool. I love the idea of modifying the game codes on the fly. However, being programmer myself, I'm not sure how audience with lack of programming skill handle this game.
I really like the direction of this game, changing the code to enable features. I don't know if I was doing something wrong but I had an issue that made it difficult to see what was going on in Chrome.
It worked in Firefox though ๐
Neat way of blending programming and gameplay, thought it was really fun! :D
The only issue I had was that I found it a bit fiddly at times to realign the values so that they would sit in the predefined places e.g. if the orientation of 'Left' wasn't roughly correct I had to mess around a bit to get it to stay in place. This was super minor though, and didn't take away from the experience :)
Great work! :)
P.S. Apologies if I've just spammed you with notifications btw, somehow just ended up posting my comment three times ^^;
Brilliant concept. One of the better code edutainment approaches I have seen. Great job!
Love the idea of modifying your own character while playing. It's well executed, you can change your own settings on the fly while playing!
Great job, congrats.
Such a creative game! It has a good balance of guidance and exploration to make the game feel manageable yet challenging. I'm interested to see how this could be played on a console/couch without sacrificing pace. I did also run into a situation where I had to repeat a jump multiple times with because the camera was too high up and I had to take leaps of faith. It would be nice also if the character wasn't as bouncy (against the floor) because having to wait for the character to land before making another jump is a little sad.
Thank you for your feedback ! ๐
I think it would be quite hard to make this game interesting on console.
I agree with you on the camera issues, but I didn't have the time to find a good angle or a better zoom level that would allow you to see better what you were doing but at the same time not spoiling the rest of the game.
This was a very cool game, super innovative mechanics and I played it all the way through and really enjoyed it (despite not being a programmer hehe).
One thing that I did stuggle with was that I had to take alot of leap of faiths because I could not see where the next platforms are situated because the camera was too high up. Visibility of the platforms was especially difficult during the lava/smoke area.
All that being said that could easily be improved on that pales in comparison to how good and FUN this game is. I hope everyone takes the time to play this game because its honestly such a refreshing and unique take on the theme. Overall a stelar job!
Keep it up! C:

Wow! This is the best game I've played yet. Really, really great job. Loved seeing the difference between now and a year ago. The level design was on point, and the game design was even more on point!
So glad I stopped in. Loved when you shook all the inputs out of their spots.
Lots of fun should add some more levels with more code to be able to edit and I would totally play more of this.
Really cool idea! I enjoyed how you created the entire game in one level and caused issues based on things in the environment. I did have trouble getting the variables to stay in place, particularly with the Right/Left slots, but otherwise it was really fun to switch them out to get through the level.
At one point I accidentally mistook the 20 for a 0 and made my character constantly move left. I had just reached a new zone so I thought the gravity in the level had changed. Took me much longer than I'd like to admit to figure that one out.
Thanks for the feedback
Yes it was not easy for me to add a physic part to UI element ^^'
I fixed a lot of bug but I know there is still some bug that happen only with the "Right" and "Left" values and I don't know why...
No it's not your fault, at one moment in the game (just before the saws) there is an invisible trigger that change the value of left movement to 20 ^^
oh my god i love how you connected with your game in the last jam XD
the idea of fixing bugs in code is also really cool!
is it just me that i get a black rectangle like this (or a part of the game mechanic)? the more i play it the wider it gets..
cool idea overall (@.@)b
