I loved Butterfly Soup when I was in high school, and I put off playing this for a while, and now that I have I just love it so so much. It unlocks part of my soul that I thought I had blocked off in college. Especially since when I played the first one, I related to Noelle with every part of me, and in between playing the first one and this one, I fell in love and started dating, and I could see shades of myself in all the characters in realizing my feelings and learning how it is to be in love.
I've been both Diya and Min in learning how nice PDA is, and how difficult and nerve wracking love can be when you don't know if you can measure up when you fuck up. I knew how Akarsha felt when she didn't know how Noelle felt about her, and I deeply, deeply knew the questioning of every single thing that you feel and what your crush knew, how all the plans you made crack in half with all the feelings you feel, and how utterly earthshattering it feels to finally say your feelings out loud.
